My client is looking for someone who has a desire to succeed within the transport and logistics industry.
Working in a small team you will be pivotal in the success and growth of the business; this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get a footing in a fantastic global organisation.
Working closely with the owner depot manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of the nightshift operation.
Managing a small team of two pickers and 8 drivers this is very much a hands on position and the scope for growth is huge.
The company has been going for over 20 years globally and is now looking to make its mark in the UK market place; following the success of other branches (unprecedented growth of over 500% within 2 years!!!) they are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking supervisor who wants to climb the ladder of success.
With a proven track record in a warehouse supervisory position, you will be ready to take the challenge and make your mark.
Basic salary is between £15,000 and £17,000 (with the view to be increased to in excess of £20,000+ within the first 12 months).
Key responsibilities will include:
? Managing 2 sorters
? Managing 8 drivers
? Reporting to the branch manager
Initially handling up to 1000 cartons per night, this is expected to grow dramatically over the next 12 months, and the successful candidate will grow along with the business.
